Anjanette Delgado

Anjanette Delgado is an executive editor at the Detroit Free Press, where she specializes in audience insights and digital communication, organizational learning and impact evaluation. She built the Free Press' audio department and is now starting a new data team. She is a contributor to the Norman Lear Center's Media Impact Project at USC Annenberg. Her company named her one of Gannett's Greatest in 2021 for developing the Free Press' subscription business. Chartbeat selected her as a leader in the field of real-time analytics in 2014 for her work at lohud.com in New York, and she was featured in an international documentary on journalism’s digital transformation for ARTE TV. Prior to that, she was the top editor of The Salinas Californian, a designer and a city hall reporter.
